Committees Now Forming for
Art Show & Gardening Series

Committees are now forming for the 14th Annual Student Art Show and annual Heritage Gardening at the Springs events. Opportunities are available for all levels of expertise and availability. Student Art Show committee member roles include promoting involvement by local public and private schools, handling show logistics, and hosting awards and opening receptions.

The show is exhibited at local restaurants and businesses throughout December and features the works of students in grades K-12 throughout the North Metro Atlanta area. Participation this year is expected to top 300 students. Numerous volunteers are also needed for a wide range of short and long-term planning activities for Heritage Gardening at the Springs (Feb. 05) the grand finale of which is the annual Heritage Plant Sale (April 05). The series offers wonderful learning opportunities for gardeners and history buffs, and is lots of fun too!
