Sandy Springs Society, Artists  Prepare for  "Turtle Trot " Parade

Sandy Springs Society members, artists, and merchants are seeing green as they join forces for a public art exhibit for charity.  Sixty painted turtles will be unveiled at a Turtle Trot parade on April 16 , 9 a.m., in Sandy Springs. The theme is anything green or turtle-oriented, with an emphasis on creativity.  After the parade, the turtles will appear around Sandy Springs until they are auctioned in September, with all  proceeds going back into the community.
