"2004 Sandy Springs Festival"

Heritage Sandy Springs presents "2004 Sandy Springs Festival" on Saturday, September 18th, 2004 from 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. and on Sunday, September 19th, 2004 from 12:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. Celebrating its 19th year, the two-day Festival is the largest annual event in Sandy Springs, drawing over 25,000 people. The Festival will take place at the Sandy Springs Historic Site and Sandy Springs Circle.

Open to the public and to all ages, the Festival welcomes adults, teens and children. Heritage Sandy Springs Members and children, ages 5 and younger, get in FREE.  Group ticket rates are also available. Festival highlights include: Lightning 10K Road Race, Pet Parade, Business & Civic Expo, Collector Car Show, Children's Park, Teen Territory, International Food Court, Heritage Crafters, Juried Artist Market, Live Entertainment, and Silent Auction.

Heritage Sandy Springs is a non-profit organization committed to preserving and promoting the historical and cultural identity of Sandy Springs. As a Sandy Springs organization it strives to provide a sense of place for Sandy Springs. Heritage Sandy Springs presents educational heritage and cultural events for the community at the Sandy Springs Historic Site, home of the Williams-Payne House. The Sandy Springs Festival and other special events are held here throughout the year
